The L.A. Region K-16 Collaborative Stewardship Group and regional convener, UNITE-LA, launched a series of virtual working sessions to delve into the collaborative’s primary regional strategies and objectives.

Communities of Practice are intended to provide additional context, support, and collaboration opportunities for regional partners as they advance approaches in dual enrollment, transfer, and work-based learning.

Learning Sessions are organized as presentations from regional, state, or national partners leading strategies and progress on topics related to our region’s target recovery with equity strategies: reduce college affordability; high-tech, high-touch advising; support college preparation and early credit; and retain students through inclusive supports.

Career Advisories are intended to connect campus and district practitioners with industry professionals to review labor market information and discuss ways to better prepare students for future careers through curricular-alignment, skills-building, and experiential learning.
