L.A. Region K–16 Collaborative Bi-Monthly Convening
The L.A. Region K–16 Collaborative’s Fall Convenings bring together partners from across all five subregions to connect, learn from one another, and strengthen our collective work to advance equitable education-to-career pathways for students across Los Angeles County.
These regional gatherings create opportunities for partners to share emerging opportunities, promising practices, and lessons learned while building stronger connections across the K–16 ecosystem.
What to Expect
Each convening will provide space for:
- Shared Learning: Exchange promising practices, resources, and lessons emerging across the five subregions.
- Cross-Subregional Collaboration: Build connections with partners working toward similar goals across the L.A. Region.
- Collective Problem-Solving: Discuss common opportunities and challenges and identify areas where greater regional alignment can strengthen our work.
- Regional Updates & Opportunities: Learn about upcoming opportunities, resources, and initiatives that can support local and regional efforts.
Who Should Attend
The Fall Convenings are intended for partners participating in the L.A. Region K–16 Collaborative, including representatives from K–12 school districts, community colleges, four-year institutions, workforce and industry partners, and other organizations supporting student success.
Subregional partners are also encouraged to invite colleagues whose work supports the Collaborative’s priority areas, including:
- Dual Enrollment
- Transfer Pathways
- Work-Based Learning
Together, these convenings will help strengthen relationships across the region, elevate promising practices, and identify opportunities to better connect and align our efforts on behalf of students.
