East LA County Partnership Goals & Objectives

The East LA County partnership is expanding regional and sub-regional backbone staffing and collaborative infrastructure to strengthen capacity for collaborative root cause analysis, problem-solving, and goal setting for K-16 pathways. Partners collaborate to increase college access for students across East LA County and helps institutions work together to identify and remove institutional barriers.

The East LA County Partnership aims to:

Expand dual enrollment opportunities in computer science, engineering, and ethnic studies.

Build transfer-ready pathways by aligning advising, curriculum, and bridge programs for STEM and CS degrees at four-year universities.

Increase early STEM exposure through initiatives like Project CAMINOS, the PolyTransfer Advantage, and the Femineer Program.

Strengthen data-sharing and coordination systems across K-12, community colleges, and universities to advance equitable student success.
