DESCRIPTION:The L.A. Region K–16 Collaborative\, in partnership with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)\, invites partners to a virtual employer engagement working session focused on strengthening pathways into healthcare careers. This session will bring together CHLA and K–16 partners to explore how education and healthcare employers can collaborate to better connect students with healthcare career opportunities. \nParticipants will: \n\nLearn about CHLA’s workforce and education priorities and emerging opportunities.\nExplore opportunities and challenges in connecting students to healthcare careers and work-based learning.\nDiscuss how K–12\, community colleges\, four-year institutions\, and healthcare employers can work collectively to strengthen healthcare pathways.\n\nRegister using this link.
